Wild Goose Vineyards

Wild Goose Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Okanagan Falls that has been producing premium wines for more than forty years, making it one of the longer-established names in the South Okanagan. The winery's story began in the early 1980s when founder Adolf Kruger purchased a barren parcel of land east of Okanagan Falls; while walking the property he startled a large flock of Canada geese feeding among the tumbleweeds and boulders, and as they took flight the vision inspired the name Wild Goose Vineyards. The winery was established in 1990 by the Kruger family and acquired by the Wyse family of Burrowing Owl Vineyards in 2021, with a focus on producing premium, approachable wines that the family describes as touching the four corners of the Okanagan: sun, earth, fruit and family. Wild Goose has built a particularly strong reputation for its aromatic white wines, and the portfolio spans Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, along with Pinot Noir, Merlot, a Meritage blend, a botrytis-affected Riesling and port-style wines, drawn from vineyard sites including a parcel at the winery itself.
