By using Wine Tours in BC you agree to what follows. If you don't, please don't use the site.

What this site is

Wine Tours in BC is an independent directory of British Columbia wineries, cideries, distilleries and meaderies, plus tools for planning a wine tour. We also offer a paid custom tour-planning service — so we are a commercial operation, not a non-profit guide.

We are not affiliated with the businesses listed here. A listing is not an endorsement, a partnership, or a claim that the business has any relationship with us. Businesses do not pay to be listed.

Accuracy — please verify before you travel

Listing information is compiled from public sources and may be out of date or wrong. Opening hours, tasting fees, availability and even whether a business is still trading can change without notice. Always confirm directly with the winery before making a trip. We deliberately link to Google Maps for live hours and reviews rather than storing hours ourselves, because stored hours go stale.

Distances, routes and drive times shown by the tour builder are approximate and derived from town-level coordinates. They are planning aids, not navigation instructions.

Alcohol and responsibility

You must be of legal drinking age in British Columbia (19+) to use the tour features. Never drink and drive. If you plan to taste, arrange a designated driver or a licensed operator. Any route this site produces is a suggestion, and you are solely responsible for how you travel it and for your own safety and conduct.

Accounts

Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove an account that is used for spam, abuse, impersonation or anything unlawful.

Tours and reviews you publish

If you publish a tour or leave a review, you keep ownership of what you wrote, and you grant us permission to display it on this site. You confirm it is your own work and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. Don't post anything false, defamatory, or designed to promote something unrelated.

We moderate public tours and reviews and may decline, hide or remove them. A tour that has been rejected or removed by a moderator cannot be republished.

Business listings

If you operate a listed business, you can ask us to correct or remove your listing — see About this directory. We will action reasonable requests without charge and without requiring anything in return.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, bulk-copy or republish the directory.
• Don't attempt to break, overload or probe the site.
• Don't submit listings, tours or reports you know to be false.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on listing information, from a business being closed or different to its description, or from anything that happens on a tour. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
