Domaine Artema Winery

Domaine Artema sits on Oliver's Black Sage Bench. The estate was established in 2003 as Desert Hills Estate Winery by the Toor brothers — Randip, Jessie and Dave — and was acquired in 2024 by Vancouver-based Trident Hospitality, which rebranded it under the current name. The winery sits at 4078 Black Sage Road, on the east side of the valley where deep sandy soils, intense sunshine and some of Canada's warmest growing conditions produce the ripe, concentrated grapes that have made the bench a benchmark for BC red wine. The wines are drawn from this distinctive desert-edge terroir.
