Untangled Craft Cider (Klippers Organics)

Untangled Craft Cider is a natural craft cidery in Cawston, deep in the Similkameen Valley, where the fruit is grown sustainably right outside the door on Klippers Organic Acres. Launched in 2019, the cidery takes a true tree-to-tap approach, and even the name has a farm story: the founders inherited an orchard where the trees had been deliberately woven together, and their first job was literally to untangle them, an image that became the brand.

The lineup is adventurous and ever-changing, with around a dozen distinct ciders on the go. Core pours include the semi-sweet Tangled, the dry Newton, a dry Cherry, and Crimson Star, a dry pear cider, while the seasonal and specialty side runs to inventive blends like Rosemary Cherry, Mulberry Thyme, Lionheart Plum, Hopped Apricot, Lavender Nectarine and Black Plum Basil. There is even a non-alcoholic Soft Cider for those skipping the alcohol. You can taste through the range with cider tastings and flights, then take home bottles or growler fills.

The setting is a highlight in itself. The cidery shares a building with Row Fourteen restaurant and is surrounded by the organic orchards that supply its fruit, so a visit easily becomes a wider farm experience, pairing cider with farm-driven food and the broader Klippers Organics destination.
