Indigenous World Winery

Indigenous World Winery in West Kelowna is a landmark of the British Columbia wine industry: when it opened its doors in 2016 it was the first fully Indigenous, privately owned winery in the province. The winery is 100 percent owned and operated by direct descendants of the Syilx people of the Okanagan, founders Robert and Bernice Louie, whose family connection to this land reaches back thousands of years, and the brand has been producing wines since 2012.
